Shheeesh!

Well it is December 1st. It has been a while... I guess I will just have to highlight a few things. This is going to be hard, since Bridger is literally screaming at my feet. No wonder I never get anything done.
I learned a lesson way back in August. When Ryan was in Palm Springs golfing, I thought that I would do something nice for myself. So I scheduled a appointment to get eyelash extensions. I was really excited. It is the "thing" right now. So I got me a babysitter, and off I went. Well...It didn't quite go like I thought, I was under the impression that she was going to extend my eyelashes. But instead she glued about a zillion "weft" lashes into my eyelid. She told me that they would relax, and that I would not like them right away. I looked kinda like an Egyptian on crack. Well, if the look wasn't bad enough, they hurt! Sooooo, I ripped them off. Ryan was coming home the next day,and I didn't want to scare him back to Palm Springs. This is where the lesson comes in. In the process of removing my falsies, I also removed a ton of my own eyelashes. I can honestly say, that you don't appreciate something until its gone... I didn't have long, luscious lashes to begin with, however they were okay. And I sure did miss them when they were gone. They have all grown back now...Phew.
Well the cookies must be gone...I will have to add more later.

Hello there

Well It looks like summer has come and gone! That was fast. We spent the summer in Bear Lake with Tricia and Paul, and then off to the Ranch. We had a lot of fun. I enjoyed riding my bike on the long country roads... I was spoiled. we celebrated Kestle's 7th birthday. And we were able to spend alot of time with Nana, It was so good to have her on her "dirt" at her home. I will always treasure the time I spent with her. My Bridger baby turned 1! School started, and life is crazy busy. Ryan Is working alot...and enjoyed his Palm Springs Vaca. I am excited to start recording my "Bella Vita" again.
Here are some pics of our summer.

TRI Me

I had an awesome experience at the Women Of Steel Triathlon! I finished with a better time than I had expected, since I was not trained as well as I should have been. It was awesome! I want to thank my awesome friends who supported me, and raced with me.(Stephanie, I was so thankful for the hug after crossing the finish line). I learned that I can do hard things, and I can change what I don't like. It just takes hard work, and allot of motivation. And also, that I am worth it. It makes me happy to use my body, I felt good about myself, and confident.(until i saw my fatty patty pictures) And those feelings are hard to come by for me.
Here is to me!

Sequoia

Dear Lady,
Dear perfect lady, driving in your perfect white Sequoia. With your perfectly blond highlights, and your 75$ French manicure, and I am sure your name brand work out clothes on your perfect body. Not to forget your Hollywood sunglasses. Probably coming home from the gym, while your live in nanny takes exquisite care of your perfect children. As I sit at the stop light sizing you up, you are probably thinking to yourself...Oh I am so much better than that lady next to me, in her DI clothes, and dirty hair! And you know what, you would be right... You suck, Mrs perfect! Or do I?

Kestle's Hair Dos

Ok, So anyone who knows my son, knows that he loves his hair. If it isn't just right then its a bad day. Once when he was in preschool, before i grew a brain. I cut his hair too short. He wouldn't go to school! I had to call his teacher and make sure nobody commented on his haircut. He was mad for days. The cute thing, and reason for this post. Is that he is really good at doing hair! He is the one to be combing Tessa's dolls' hair. She got some Schnooks for her bday(thanks Gramma chadwick). Schnooks are these little puff balls that you can style their hair. There has been many a fight over the Schnooks! He is really good! One night when I was putting the kids to bed, Kes was really quiet, until he said "look at Garvey" ( Garvey is his special bear). Garvey Had a new hairdo, He had LICKED it! Licked a mow hawk on Garveys little head! Funny stuff. I tell him that its okay to do Hair its in his blood, starting with his great, great grandpa. Love you Kes!

Just To Toot My Own Horn...Bike Horn That Is

I just want to send a shout out to my amazing husband, and sister. I got Road bike for mothers day...a really nice one! I love It. I have already put about 30 miles on it. I feel like this is my thing...I have always wanted a thing. And ya know what? I'm kinda good at biking. Thank you Ryan And Steff!

Fire Funnies

So the other day we were driving down the street with the whole fam. Ryan was impressing us with his mad math skills, also trying to quiz the kids on their math. Ryan asked something about "what the square root of pie is" Ya know like I said, impressing all of us...Tessa was really troubled because she just didn't understand what firefighting had to do with baking pie. It was pretty hilarious. The funny thing is,is that being a firefighter probably has more to do with eating and baking pie than math!

Last Sunday there was a fireside at our church. We were trying to decide who should go since we didn't have a babysitter. Tessa was quite logical, Daddy should go since it is a fireside. Get it... He is a firefighter. It was funny. On a side note Ryan and I both went, And Tessa babysat(except bridger). Weird. When we got home she asked us if we had fun. I never thought Id be here.
