Stupid Cat!

Dear Piggy Piggy, Why are you the only cat that doesnt get out of the way when a car is going to back out? And why do you want to ride in the car with us? And WHY WHY WHY did you get smashed by our garage door? Flat as a pancake! You stupid, stupid Kitty! Really, like I don't have enough to deal with. Luckily you are still alive and able to walk again. Stupid Kitty!

My Tessa. I just wanted to take a quick minute to say how much I love you!
You have really impressed me this week(as always). I use to pray that you would always
keep your amazing heart. And you have! Thanks for being the example to me... You went out of your way to thank a few people for birthday presents very sincerly. I didn't tell you to or anything. You also invited a few girls to your party that you are trying to befriend, and one isnt very nice to you. But instead of giving up on her, you made her feel welcome, and in the end she had a really fun time. I don't know that she has many opportunities to have friends. You amaze me at your kindness. I love you! I love watching you, and being your mom. It is the greatest honor.

Funny Thing

Out of the blue...
Mom you know what is nice about daddy long legs? They don't bite you,they don't sting you, they don't bother you, they just leave you alone. That is what is nice about them.
Oh and mom, do you know what is crazy about you? You tie like this (made big sign) and daddy ties like this(small), that is crazy. I asked what he likes better, he said dad's. Because I am crazy...
All of this while eating breakfast.

Oh my sweet baby! You are the light of all our family!
You are still our 'bean bag baby'. You have no desire to roll over or crawl. You are hillarious though! At night when I am putting the kids to bed you go crazy doing all your tricks. Happy dance, Funny Bunny, just being silly! You especially go nuts for Tessa, I can hardly keep you in my arms because you are jiggling so much!
You are almost 9 months old, and I want them all back-it has gone by way too fast!

I Don't Get It

Why Why Why... Why do I spend sooooo much time getting my kids to eat, and then they don't eat. But then they sure do want to eat when I don't want them to. If I could explain that, I would be solving the greatest problem in my family. Really.... A snack right after the dinner you did't eat... please!

A few things...

There are a few things that I don't want to forget. Since this is a journal...
At aunt Colleen's funeral my family along with others were asked to sing
"I Am A Child Of God" . I had to take Bridger out, so I missed the start of the song. As I went in to listen to my family. I looked to the front, and there were my kiddos singing. Except Kaestle, He was sobbing. When the song was finished I took him out, and he cried for about 20 more minutes holding on to me and
Bridger... I asked him what was wrong and he answered " I am just so thankful that we can live with Heavenly Father and Jesus." He has always been incredibly sensitive, and I love you for that Kes.
Another precious thing is my Joshie's Binky prayers. When it is his night to pray, he says the most heartfelt sincere prayers in the sweetest voice...with his Binky. I should record it.
Also, I am going to start posting the funny things I hear in the day.
